NOTE: The information on this page is intended for cadets currently registered with our unit.
The following links will provide you will all the training information you need! Training schedule, online classes, weekend activities, and registration forms.
All in-person activities for this training year are parental/guardian drop off/pick up unless specified otherwise.
For the activities listed below, cadets must sign up using the form at the applicable link before the deadline. Late sign-ups may be accepted on a case-by-case basis; cadets who miss the deadline should contact the unit inbox.
Check this page regularly for any changes to scheduled activities.

Routine Orders for each week are published every Monday; cadets are responsible for reading them every week before Wednesday night training.

UPCOMING activities
Army Run
The Canada Army Run will take place on September 21, 2025, hosted at the Cartier Square Drill Hall in Ottawa.
The event supports two important charities:
Soldier On, which assists ill and injured CAF members through sport, recreation, and creative activities.
Support Our Troops, which provides financial and community support to CAF members, veterans, and their families.
The 2784 Governor General’s Foot Guards fundraising team will be participating in the 5 km run/walk, providing cadets and families an opportunity to get involved together.
Please note: Cadets participating in the run/walk will not be under cadet corps supervision; the corps is providing information only. Parents are to ensure that their cadet is looked after throughout the activity. Staff will not be responsible for any cadets participating in the run/walk.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
The GGFG Regiment has asked for cadets to volunteer during the event to assist with handing out water, providing information, etc. Cadets who participate in this volunteering activity will be under supervision with a staff member present. We are looking for 5-10 cadets to help with volunteering. If your cadet is interested in helping, please sign up on using this link here. There will be more details to follow.
SILVER/GOLD STAR EXPEDITION TRAINING WEEKEND
Dates: 26-28 Sept 2025
Location: Gatineau Park - Drop-off location and timings TBD
Parental drop-off and pick-up will be at the above location. Estimated timings:
Drop-off: 1900 hrs, Fri 26 Sept
Pick-up: 1400 hrs, Sun 28 Sept
Cadets from 2784 RCACC enrolled in the Silver Star and Gold Star levels will participate in Cadet Expedition Site (CES) training as part of the Army Cadet Training Program. CES training has been designed to provide the Silver and Gold Star cadets with an opportunity to develop expedition skills such as hiking, canoeing and mountain biking.
