2026-27 Training Schedule / important notices

NOTE: The information on this page is intended for cadets currently registered with our unit.

The following links will provide you will all the training information you need! Training schedule, online classes, weekend activities, and registration forms.

All in-person activities for this training year are parental/guardian drop off/pick up unless specified otherwise.

  • For the activities listed below, cadets must sign up using the form at the applicable link before the deadline. Late sign-ups may be accepted on a case-by-case basis; cadets who miss the deadline should contact the unit inbox.

  • Check this page regularly for any changes to scheduled activities.

Routine Orders for each week are published every Monday; cadets are responsible for reading them every week before Wednesday night training.

Note: cadets who have only been issued C5 FTU may wear it whenever the dress is C1 or C3.

UPCOMING activities

Ontario cadet week parade - 3 october 2026

  • On Saturday, 3 October 2026, cadets from across the National Capital Region will conduct a short ceremonial parade from Parliament Hill to Ottawa City Hall, followed by a Cadet flag-raising ceremony to officially launch Ontario Cadets Week in Ottawa.

  • Timing: 0915-1130hr

  • Cadets interested are to sign up here by 1 October 2026.

ADA 5 Training Day

  • On Saturday 24, October 2026, we will be going to Connaught Cadet Training Centre and have an opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities.

  • Activities include: marksmanship, drones, geocaching, abseil and obstacle course.

    Application for Cadet Correspondance course now open

  • Cadet Correspondence Virtual Course Application – Fill out form

    • This November, selected cadets will have the chance to dive into the world of public relations and creative media through our month‑long Public Affairs & Communications Course. 

    • Sessions run every Monday evening throughout November, offering hands‑on learning in photography, social media, videography, and creative storytelling within the Cadet Program.

    • To apply, cadets must be Silver Star or above and no older than 18 at the time of course completion at the end of November.
