First Training Night: Our first training night of the year will be on Wednesday 3 September 2025 at 1830 hrs!
[RETURNING CADETS ONLY. New recruits and their parents are asked to come in on 10 Sept instead.]
- What to Expect:
  - Order of Dress: C5 Field Training Uniform
  - Annual Validation Forms: Be prepared to sign and return these important documents
  - Parents Welcome: Parents are encouraged to stay for the evening
New Cadets: If you wish to sign up for the Army Cadet Program, please click here. Our first training night for new cadets will be on 10 September 2025!
- What to Bring & Expect:
  - Proof of legal resident of Canada - Canadian passport, provincial/territorial birth certificate, PR card, etc.
  - Proof of valid provincial health insurance - Bring the physical health card
  - Meet the Staff - A great opportunity to connect with our team and ask questions.
  - Parents Welcome - Parents are encouraged to stay for the evening and participate in a presentation about the Cadet Program

Uniforms: For uniform issues (missing kit, sizing, ripped, etc), please talk to the Supply Officer during training nights.
- Returning cadets requiring uniform exchanges are asked to wait until Wed 10 Sept.
Absences: If you need to report an absence you must email the unit inbox at 2784army@cadets.gc.ca. Cadets who arrive late should report to the office to get marked on the attendance.

Cadets is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities.

This program is one of the most rewarding youth initiatives in Canada providing important citizenship, education and leadership skills. It is offered free of charge which includes all training, uniforms, activities and summer training opportunities.
