MARKSMANSHIP

Marksmanship practices will be re-opening for all cadets interested in gaining experience with firing the Daisy 853C air rifle.

All cadets are welcome to sign up, regardless of experience level. Interested cadets should sign up at the link below BEFORE attending their first practice. (Please register again, if previously registered in the fall.)

All cadets MUST complete the air rifle handling test prior to being permitted on the range. New cadets will be taught the safe handling procedure during practice sessions. Cadets who have already completed the test do not need to complete it again, but may be asked to demonstrate the necessary skills at any time.

Dates:
All weekend practices are on Sunday mornings, 0900 hrs - 1200 hrs. Any additional dates will be communicated once added.

Location: Cartier Square Drill Hall
Dress: appropriate athletic civilian attire.

BAND

Cadets in the corps pipes & drums band play bagpipes, highland snare drum, and bass drum. They learn music theory, band drill, and even have the opportunity to perform during parade nights and the Annual Ceremonial Review.

  • Practices: Monday nights 1830 - 2100 (10min from Drill Hall)

  • Questions can be directed to MWO Cooper during parade nights to register.

BIATHLON

Congratulations to the 2023-24 Biathlon Team for all their hard work. The unit team participated in the Local Area Competition, with a member qualifying and competing at the Provincial Competition. BZ.

The team has now been stood down for this training year.
